Hi! I'm Elishea, and this is
what Reeves Vocal Studio is all about.
I know that being a good singer doesn’t automatically make me a great voice coach. That’s why I’ve dedicated my time and effort to learning at the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA), which has helped thousands of vocalists find phenomenal growth. Through my certification, I have gained the right tools and knowledge to help others succeed in their own vocal journeys using best practices and safe techniques.
Our voices are an incredibly important part of what makes us, well, us. Through childhood, puberty, to adulthood, our voices change with every year that we do. Whether sickness, pregnancy, weight gain or loss, the voices we once had may sound completely different now. And that's ok! I am here to help you find the best use of your voice in the here and now. And I'll teach you the tools you need to take it wherever you find yourself next.
I will go the extra mile with you. I know that some of the sounds we will work on may be hard to master, but I'll help you find the ways to help your voice reach its fullest potential. Some days, it may take a little extra time and effort, but trust me, we'll get there. Together.
I am confident that everybody can learn to train their voices to be better than ever before. Through my time teaching students, I have seen it happen time and time again. So, I am incredibly optimistic about your own personal journey as a vocalist, and I am honored to be a part of the process.
Nobody ever truly grows by being lied to. That's why I will be completely honest with what I hear in our lessons together. But don't worry! I'm super nice about it. And remember, I'm here to help. You've got this!
I was born and raised in Visalia, CA, and since the age of 4 I have loved to sing. I started my singing journey in church and loved it so much that I joined several musicals at my local performing arts center.
In January 2018, I moved to Sydney Australia to study Worship Ministry at Hillsong College. During my time there, I discovered so much about vocal health and performance through my IVA certified voice instructor. She quickly became someone I looked up to.
While enrolled at Hillsong College, I also met my now husband, Trevor Reeves, who had lived only 45 minutes away from my home town!
After college, we moved back to America and now live in Fresno, CA with our two adopted cats, Sasha and Miso.
I have always loved both singing and performing, but I have found that my biggest passion is teaching others how to use their voices to their fullest potential. That's why I also became an IVA certified voice instructor!
I truly value the ability to help others explore their voices in new ways, and I hope to have the privilege of serving you on your vocal journey. Throughout our lessons, I will give you incredible tools that will challenge your voice and enable you to sing with healthy technique for the rest of you life!
